FOUND IT! After watching The Green Lantern with my son, I noticed a really cool alarm clock on the bedside table when Ryan Reynolds first wakes up. I KNEW I had seen it before in my web travels and here it is. (It’s the small victories that count the most right?)
A uniquely exposed design was given to the Bomba alarm clock by Dutch designer Will Vanden Vos, showing off all the gears and inner workings that run, well… like clockwork. The design features the retro-style flip cards to change the displayed numbers like many very early electric alarm clocks used to have.
Some light blue LED lights on each side make the numbers readable at night and a simple dial on the side lets you set the approximate time you would like the alarm to sound.
The Boomba alarm clock is also available in black and can be ordered HERE for $72.
I’m not a fan of alarm clocks because they wake me up out of a good snooze…however, this one is damn cool looking enough that it might make me smile rather than cringe at the sound of the alarm
