Rogue Voodoo Doughnut Bacon Maple Ale

This one is for my good friend who we will simply call, “Hennig“.  He has an affinity for beer, is passionate about bacon and I’m pretty  sure that if you throw donuts in the mix, he would be all in.  Rogue Ales has collided with world famous Voodoo Doughnuts to create Bacon Maple Ale! This unique creation contains a baker’s dozen number of ingredients including bacon and maple syrup from one of Voodoo’s signature doughnuts.

Now Hennig is all man and I’m sure that the pink bottle will put him off and maybe even the price tag of $13 per bottle will hold him back from filling up his refrigerator.  That being said, he is like a wild grizzly when the smell of bacon wafts through the air so I think this may be under his tree for the holidays.

I’d LOVE to try one of these. That being said I hope it doesn’t taste like pure liquid doughnut, bacon and maple….. ;)

Last time I had a bacon ale, and it as the last time, is because it tasted like liquid smoke with puréed ham. Maybe this is different though.

they have this at most BevMo locations, don’t pay the shipping.
