Back in January we profiled the talented Austin-based artist Travis English and did a feature article on his Star Wars Silhouette series. Like all things Star Wars, the readers devoured the article so when we heard he had 2 NEW series out, we had to share it with you.
He did both series to commemorate the 3D release of The Phantom Menace and this time he is focusing on the characters rather than the overall movie. His use of colors and attention to detail in regards to the lightsabers make these posters a must have for any die-hard Star Wars fan. (I think Darth Maul would look pretty spectacular in the hall of the blurppy offices here in So Cal! The East Coast office can fend for itself…)

All the major players in the movie are portrayed: Qui – Gon, Obi – Wan, Darth Maul, Mace Windu, Anakin, that scummy lil’ cheater Sebulba and everybody’s favorite green guru of the force, Yoda. They are being offered in a very limited run and are available on his ETSY page HERE. Go check them out and tell him blurppy sent you and that we REALLY need these for our office!

Are these available for purchase somewhere?
Absolutely, just go to his Etsy site. I have a link down a the bottom that will take you there. Tell him you saw it on blurppy!
Done and done! Very personable guy.
Travis is great! We reached out to him last month about another project he had going and he was extremely gracious with his time and gave us a great interview. We were thrilled when, late last night, we got a message from him about these new posters. They look amazing and we love to see new artists succeed. Thanks for mentioning blurppy to him. Hopefully we will keep getting notified each time he launches a new project and we will continue to post his stuff for the masses. Thanks for checking out the blog and have a fantastic weekend.
You too. I posted a link to this on FB too so hopefully that’ll help get you out there a bit also. I wonder if he’ll do anything for this year’s E.T. 30th Anniversary…
Thanks and who knows. E.T. is iconic, he may do it. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
