My wife and I have been consumed with collecting old books. If it is newer than 1930, we put it back and seek out another musty treasure. With that in mind, we have been looking for a creative way to display these books in our constantly growing collection and I may have just discovered it.
These amazing bookshelves are the creation of Katie and her husband from Stella Bleu Designs. Based in Dallas, Texas, Katie is a fan of the Grateful Dead and like me, a self professed ice cream junkie. They have come up with an ingenious way to display books in a truly unique way. These industrial style bookshelves are a great conversation piece that turns heavy iron piping into a modern urban look that will add a sense of history and character to any space.
Katie was an art major and her husband did Business/Economics so she was the creative one but he is a very “handy” person. Throughout college and after being married they were “always broke” but still wanted to have cool things. This inspired her to sketch out ideas and designs and then her husband was able to figure out how to put them together.
If you are in the same boat as a few of us here at blurppy and love these as much as we do you can order your own shelves HERE. Tell them blurppy sent you…
Turnaround time for orders is about 2 weeks and the shelves are extremely easy to install.

I have been trying to reach Stella Bleu Designs for 3 weeks. They took my money, $454.00, never sent me my product, and won’t return phone calls or e-mails. Do you know how I can get in touch with them?
Unfortunately I do not. Let me see if I can come up with something for you.
It has been over 6 weeks since my order. I would greatly appreciate the help! Thank you!
Let me try. Stay tuned. They are not associated with our site so I will try and do some digging for you.
