One of the biggest complaints of uber- fans of the Star Wars franchise is how Lucas seemingly “sold out” storyline for merchandising possibilities.  There really is no need for that bumbling idiot, Jar Jar Binks BUT the thought was KIDS WOULD LOVE HIM and thus resulting in potential truckloads of cash at the toy store.

Well apparently Mr. Lucas DOES hold back on some money making ideas.  Jason Geyer from Action Figure Insider just released a bunch of images depicting the rejected toy concept art of Star Wars.

I’m not sure why some of these weren’t made.  Some are better than stuff that DID get produced.  I mean, I want to sprawl out on Jabba’s belly, I want some toasty, comy Bantha slippers!
