We interviewed Tracie Ching last month after we saw her amazing Kickstarter poster project titled ‘The Admiral‘. The endeavor was a huge success and went far beyond the original goal set at the beginning. Now Tracie is starting on a rather ambitious new enterprise. She is a huge fan of the TV series Firefly and is offering a set of 9 limited edition prints featuring characters from the series.
Each of the silk-screen prints will be 6-color, 12″ X 12″ and limited to a 75 print run. The prints offered will be: “The Companion” – (seen above), “The Captain”, “The Hero of Canton”, “The Warrior Woman”, “The Pilot”, “The Preacher”, “The Mechanic”, “The Doctor”, “The Weapon”.

The first print, “The Companion” has FIREFLY written in Chinese in the bottom left hand corner and features one of our favorite actresses out there. Morena Baccarin is a Brazilian actress who has been in numerous TV shows including V, Stargate, most recently in Homeland and of course, Firefly. Tracie does a great job at capturing her alluring beauty. (Yes we have a major crush on Morena.) This first poster has us waiting eagerly for the other 8 in the series.
