Dear Photograph is a touching book put together by 22-year old Taylor Jones. Taylor has has come up with a unique way to tell stories through old photos. These photos come from real people and even though the words that accompany each photo are few, they speak volumes.
Once you begin flipping through it’s pages, Dear Photograph is almost impossible to put down. The old photos are imposed on current images that mesh up with the original. The result is simple yet intriguing and it will make you want to go through your OWN family albums and relive moments from YOUR past.
I found myself choked up on several occasions and smiling on several other. I HIGHLY recommend this book on many levels. Do yourself a personal favor and get the book once it becomes available on May 8th. It will become a cherished possession and makes an excellent Mother’s Day or Father’s Day gift.

Dear Photograph, Once upon a time, long ago in 1953, our grandmother held my mother’s hand and whispered words that I will never hear. Perhaps one day I will know what tender secrets she told…for now I can only imagine.

Here is what author Taylor Jones has to say:
“The journey I’ve been on these past eight months has definitely sent me over the moon with excitement and has been surreal, to say the least. More important, it has been and continues to be a journey filled with gratitude. I want to thank each and every one of you for your beautiful and inspiring submissions. It’s an absolute privilege to view and share your photographs, along with your personal stories, each and every day with everyone from around the world. I can tell you that it was not an easy task to select the final 200-plus pictures for the book!”
“I’d like to send out a heartfelt thank you to Luis Picolo for his submission, as his amazing photograph made the cover of the book! I can’t wait to share more details with you over the next few months, as we get closer to bringing Dear Photograph, the book, to you all!
With gratitude,
Taylor Jones”
