From The Pages of James Patterson’s Global Best Selling Series Comes The First Poster and Trailer For: ‘Alex Cross’

On October 19th, Tyler Perry steps into some pretty big shoes.  That is when he will be playing the young homicide detective/psychologist Alex Cross from the worldwide best-selling novels by James Patterson.  In Alex Cross he meets his match in a lethal serial killer played by Matthew Fox (Lost). The two alpha males face off in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse, but when the mission gets personal, Cross is pushed to the edge of his moral and psychological limits in this taut and exciting action thriller.

I have read many of Patterson’s Cross books and they are definitely page turners.  The character is brilliantly dynamic.  From the looks of the trailer below, Matthew Fox is WAY outside of any role we have ever seen him in.  If Tyler Perry can bring the same intensity to his character on screen as Patterson does in the novels, we are in for a great movie.

Based on the Novel “Cross” by JAMES PATTERSON, Alex Cross opens in theaters on October 19th and promises to be a true action thriller. The movie stars, TYLER PERRY, MATTHEW FOX, EDWARD BURNS, RACHEL NICHOLS and JEAN RENO.  Take a look at the trailer below and let us know what you think.
