Yesterday, the first official poster for Man of Steel silently and secretly found its way to Facebook where it immediately went viral. Warner Bros. did not release the image but it was unlocked via an exclusive Man Of Steel reward in anticipation of The Dark Knight Rises December 4th release on DVD and Blu-ray.
The poster shows Henry Cavill, Superman, in cuffs and being escorted by troops. Uhhhhh unless those cuffs are made out of Kryptonite, those troops don’t stand a chance. If they ARE Kryptonite they still have to watch out for his heat vision, super breath, super speed. Regardless, I am amped to see what Zach Snyder has in store for one of DC’s most iconic Super Heroes.
The movie opens next summer on June 14th and there will be a new trailer in front of the upcoming Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey film which opens on December 14th. (Right beside the first 9 minutes of the new Star Trek film!)
