Offset is an annual 3 day creative conference that takes place in Ireland. It continually features an impressive line-up of creatives who speak about their work, processes, inspiration and challenges.
Past speakers have included: Chip Kidd, House Industries and Shepard Fairey to name a few.
This year’s talent was top notch and included one of BLURPPY’s favorite artist, Olly Moss. Watch as Olly talks at length about some of his most iconic work. His nervousness is palpable but I hate talking in front of large groups too. I enjoy his perspective and sense of humor and I found it really interesting to learn more about some of my favorite works of pop culture art.
“If you’re going to create a character that’s going to get shot at all day by Nazis, why give him a great big target to hold?” – Olly Moss, questioning the character design of Captain America at OFFSET 2012.
