The only way to summarize Jodie Foster’s now legendary speech is that “I love what she said and I love the way she said it.” I don’t know Jodie Foster but after that speech she seems like someone that would be great to have at your fictional dinner of “12 people living or dead“, as a co-star in a movie or someone that you can call “friend“. It was a good speech but she she could’ve thanked her mother and especial ‘friend’ and left out the ‘I came out 20 years ago’ stuff is wonderful for the trusted few. The rest of us (99.9%) always knew she was a very private person. She just about admitted she favors non-traditional lovin’. I really believe she was thanking her fans even though it was not in her to ‘come out’ officially.
