As I get older, (which is happening at an alarming rate), I find that I want more simplicity in my life. Go to bed early, wake up refreshed, eat better, feel better, laugh more, stress less. UK-based design company Blue Forest has designed a pre-fabricated “eco-PERCH” that offers up an eco-friendly space from which I can do all those things I want.
The eco-PERCH is an inviting 4 bed retreat that offers guests an exclusive, sustainable experience. The design’s entirety can be reconfigured to work as a classroom, studio or office which give it a unique versatility and make it even that much more desirable. (I choose office space please.)
The structure is assembled with natural materials and can be built within 5 days on a mere 6 meter by 8 meter footprint. My only concern is that there is not enough wall space to hang my Martin Ansin, Olly Moss, Jock, Graham Erwin, Tom Whalen and Print Posse art prints. I guess in the scheme of things that is a small price to pay for sustainable eco-living.
Head on over to Blue Forest for more info on this creative and innovative design alternative. When I get mine I shall place it in the trees and live like the Ewoks in the forests of Endor.
