Disney is ramping up the marketing for what is sure to be one of this years biggest movies, “Oz The Great And Powerful“.  Their latest effort includes this set of individual character posters.  This prequel to everyone’s childhood favorite, The Wizard of Oz is directed by Sam Rami and stars James Franco, Rachel Weisz, Michelle Williams, Mila Kunis and Zach Braff.

The new movie tells the story of  Oscar Diggs (played by James Franco), a small-time circus magician who is transported from Kansas to the magical Oz.

Diggs thinks he’s landed on his feet until he meets the three witches, who see through his smoke and mirrors act. Eventually Diggs has to prove himself just to survive in a strange land — and along the way — he becomes the great and powerful Oz.
