“Are you ready for some advertising?”
Now that my beloved New England Patriots are no longer playing in the “big game“, I am already looking towards next season. That being said, I will still be watching the Superbowl this year and it won’t be to watch Beyonce at half time. (Although I may watch her lip synch her way through it just the same.) Like many of you, I will be watching for the commercials and more specifically, the ones for upcoming Hollywood blockbusters.
Superbowl XLVII is ripe for Hollywood’s picking. Tons of rabid fans sitting, watching with rapt attention and at 4 million dollars per 30 second ad, you know that movie studios are only going to roll out their potential cash cows. Disney, Universal and Paramount have all anted up and these are the ads you will see.
Disney will be releasing an all new ad for their family affair, far away from Kansas.
Disney will also let us all look at an all new 90 second ad for the masked man.
And to cap things off The Mouse will also premier and all new 60 second ad for part 3 of the Iron Man franchise.
Universal will also have their expensive 30 seconds of glory with a fresh trailer for Fast 6.
Last but far from least, Paramount will give us a look into darkness with 30 seconds of the J.J. Abrams sci-fi action adventure, Star Trek. FYI, the studio is also using the Super Bowl as a platform to launch its new app for the Star Trek movie.

Last up, Paramount will be giving us 30 seconds of the zombie apocalypse action thriller staring Brad Pitt.
