So as I painfully watched Ray Lewis get his Super Bowl victory I rewound my DVR to rewatch the new trailer for Star Trek Into Darkness. Cumberbatch is going to be an awesome baddie in this one and apparently he thinks he is better at EVERYTHING. (Call it “cocky” or “confident”, perspective is everything.)
J.J. Abrams second installment in the Star Trek universe, Star Trek Into Darkness hits theaters on May 17 and stars John Cho, Bruce Greenwood, Simon Pegg, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin, Benedict Cumberbatch, Alice Eve and Peter Weller.
Paramount also announced that Star Trek Into Darkness will arrive in theaters earlier than initially thought. Using the special “Star Trek Into Darkness” app, fans were able to “unlock movie tickets for show times on Wednesday, May 15 at 8:00 p.m. -– two days ahead of the film’s scheduled release on Friday, May 17.” The May 15 release will happen in glorious, IMAX 3D.
