After we posted the latest character poster for Iron Man 3, Iron Patriot,the folks at  Marvel launched a viral website where all your dreams can come true, you can “Become Iron Man”.

Currently the site just says, “Test Subjects Required” and lets us know that “Registration Opens Soon“.  There are some “Jarvisesqe” graphics running on the screen but I am intrigued to see what is next.  On a similar note, my 7 year old son has informed me that he “wants a real Iron Man suit that he can get into so he can fly around and help people.”

I am hoping that the website, once it is up and running, will satiate his Iron Man desires.  I’m not quite sure but I think a child sized, functioning Iron Man suit would exceed my budget.  Here is a picture of Iron Boy as he watches Phineas & Ferb in his Iron Man helmet and Dark Knight footy pajamas.  I tried to tell him that this was a conflict of interests combining superheroes and brought up significant trademark issues with DC and Marvel but he simply shot me with his repulsor beam and sang the theme song to Phineas & Ferb at the top of his lungs.  Stay tuned to the Become Iron Man website to see what happens when they go “live”.
