As if yesterday’s Game of Thrones announcement wasn’t enough to get you to book a ticket to Ausin, Texas, then I have a strong feeling that THIS announcement is. Our buddy Germain Lussier over at  Slash Film just made the exclusive announcement that Mondo’s CEO Justin Ishmael was teasing about on TWITTER yesterday. The announcement is so B   I   G that my head is spinning and I am even frothing at the mouth!

At 7 pm on March 15, at the Mondo Gallery in Austin, Texas, pop culture enthusiast and collectors will converge in droves as legendary poster artists Ken Taylor and Tyler Stout are joining forces for an exhibit of epic proportions. The show will run from March 15-April 6 and will include “new work” from both popular artists.  (BTW, my birthday is April 6th if any loyal fan of BLURPPY is looking for an appropriate gift, this is your answer.)

Unfortunately the artwork for this exhibit is as top secret as the Roswell incident so all we can show you is the show card that previewed over on Slash Film.  That being said, these two artists have already amassed impressive portfolios and to think that all new art will be on display is making it hard for me to even type this article.  This announcement brings me one step closer to moving to Austin.
