With Game Of Thrones set to start it’s third season on March 31st, HBO has released 12, count them TWELVE all new character posters. The new trailer has us amped to see how things work out this season. My favorite, Daenerys Targaryen, is searching for allies so she can create an army to invade Westeros, Tyrion Lannister is no longer Hand of the King and Jon Snow has found himself embedded with the rebel wildlings. New characters joining the show this season such as Wildling leader Mance Rayder and the Lady Olenna the Queen of Thorns should only add to what is already a strong cast and storyline.
Check out all the new posters below. They feature: Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), Ayra Stark (Maisie Williams), Catelyn Stark (Michelle Fairley), Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead), Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson), Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Robb Stark (Richard Madden), Sandor Clegane (Rory McCann), Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) and Tyrion Lannister. There is ONE that kinda freaks me out a little. For some reason the two halves don’t match up as well as the rest and the effect is disturbing.

Here is what Entertainment Weekly says about season 3.
The third season is expected to be more-or-less based on the first half of George R.R. Martin’s A Storm of Swords — the third novel of his “Song of Ice and Fire” series of fantasy bestsellers. Long a fan favorite book of the series, Swordshas several dramatic twists and confrontations
The show seems to have earned the good graces of fans of the novels, a difficult task for any filmmaker trying to recreate literature for both the big and small screens. It has also garnered a sizable fan base that have not read the novels, but love the story nonetheless.
The ability to roll out two episodes of a show’s sophomore season and declare it strong enough to give it a third – now that’s the mark of a good television program.
The early announcement is also a blessing for potential fans who haven’t watched the show yet. If you’re not a convert of the series yet, you’ll have lots of time to catch up before season 3 gets started.
