Mondo Presents 2 Special Screenings of Scorsese’s “Taxi Driver” With A Fantastic Print By Artist Martin Ansin

On Wednesday, March 20th, Mondo will be doing 2 screenings of a very special 4K digital restoration of TAXI DRIVER at the Alamo Drafthouse Ritz in Austin, Texas.  The fact that Mr. Scorsese supervised the restoration himself is impressive but going one step further, Mondo has called upon the gifted artist, Martin Ansin to do a poster for the event.

Screen Shot 2013-03-12 at 8.14.27 PMThe print is extremely detailed and features troubled lead character Travis Bickle, (Robert DeNiro), walking amidst the hustle and bustle on the busy streets of New York.  The gold and crimson colors work perfectly together and give this 1976 classic new life.

taxi-driver-3These beautiful prints will be sold  to those in attendance and you will be limited to one print per person.  (Don’t even TRY to attend the second screening for another poster, it ain’t gonna happen!)  Click HERE to reserve your tickets and a chance to get this outstanding print by one of today’s best artist.
