The Giant Birdnest: A New Place To Socialize, Work Or Be Creative

The Giant Birdnest was conceived and created by O*GE Creative Group.  Their belief is:

Life is not not measured by the number of breaths you take, but rather by what takes your breath away…”

This giant bird nest was designed by Merav Eitan and Gaston Zahr as part of the Green Garden Exhibition.  First it was a prototype for a new and inspiring socializing space.  It can be seen as a morph of furniture and playground.  It’s powerful yet simple concept and intriguing character needs no explanation or user manual.  It’s ready to be used, ready to be played in or worked in.  With its 4.50 m diameter the big version can host up to 16 people at one time.  Currently there are 3 different sizes available and more info can be found HERE at their website.

2 things, first, I’m digging the oversized “Pixar” light next to the nest and second…”note to Don, we need one of these for future staff meetings.  Imagine how fun it would be to meet with clients in “the giant birdnest”?
