From The Pages Of Lee Child’s Popular Series Comes The First Trailer For Jack Reacher Starring Tom Cruise

Here’s a first look at Tom Cruise as the menacing main character in the Lee Child novels for Paramount‘s Jack Reacher. Reacher is an ex-military policeman who becomes a benevolent drifter.  In the books he is a formidable behemoth of a man standing 6 foot 5 and weighing in at 250 lbs.  After watching the trailer it is a bit…odd seeing Cruise surrounded by ‘bad guys’ and he ends up kicking all their butts!  I say this because he is easily a foot to two feet shorter then all of them.  NOT quite the image Child protrays in his books and one that has me a bit disconcerted.   Anyway, it is what it is and we just have to deal with it.  The movie, from Paramount and Skydance Productions is directed by Christopher McQuarrie, stars Tom Cruise, Rosamund Pike, David Oyelowo and opens December 21.  Take a look and if you have read the books, let us know what YOU think.
