Justin Cronin Introduces His Upcoming Must Read Thriller: ‘The Twelve’

THE TWELVE by Justin Cronin is EASILY one of the most anticipated books of 2013. At the end of the first book, THE PASSAGE, the great viral plague had left a small group of survivors clinging to life amidst a world transformed into a nightmare. In the second volume of this epic trilogy, this same group of survivors, led by the mysterious, charismatic Amy, go on the attack, leading an insurrection against the virals: the first offensives of the Second Viral War.

To do this, they must infiltrate a dozen hives, each presided over by one of the original Twelve who were death row prisoners with nightmare pasts and no future. Their secret weapon: Alicia, transformed at the end of book one into a half human, half viral – but whose side, in the end, is she really on?

The Passage was one of BLURPPY’s favorite books back in 2010 and we have EAGERLY been awaiting the second book in the trilogy.  If The Twelve is even HALF as good as the first it will be a MUST READ in 2013.  Justin has posted an introduction to the book on his Facebook page.  ‘LIKE’ this page to get updates on tour info, and more sneak peaks and talk about this upcoming thriller that will have you reading into the wee hours of the night.  Just be sure to lock your doors before you turn the page and fear the dark.
