Happy 75th Birthday Superman

This year marks the 75th birthday of Superman.  The Man of Steel was created by American writer Jerry Siegel and Canadian-born American artist Joe Shuster in 1932 and sold to Detective Comics, Inc. (later DC Comics) in 1938.  Superman made his first  appearance in Action Comics #1 (June 1938) and has since appeared in various radio serials, television programs, films, newspaper strips, and video games.

Superman-First-Comic-Action-Comics-No-1Easily one of America’s most beloved cultural pop icons he is recognized around the globe despite having gone through many changes over the years.  Take a look at all the iterations of Krypton’s Favorite Son and see how many you remember.
