Warwick Johnson Cadwell is a professional illustrator working in editorial illustration, concept design, storyboarding and narrative art in some form or another. What first attracted me to his work was this fantastic image of Dr. Strange. I absolutely love his style and I have a feeling many of BLURPPY’S faithful followers will too.
Warwick has also just launched a webcomic with his buddy, fellow artist, Robert Ball called “Dangeritis“. Here is what Warwick had to say about this new venture.
“It’s a webcomic at this stage, a webcomic in progress. We do a lot of talking about comics and have had more than our share of ‘what if . . ‘ conversations so collaborating on a project seems uncharacteristically sensible. We both have a mighty amount of work on the go at present and penning the worlds best comic and then provide the worlds best art (all without spoilering every step as we are awful show offs it seems) seemed unlikely. As the comic pages turn up other works will appear and not all our own. But as the required pages are met Derek Danger’s adventures will be printed in traditional form too.”

Take a look at some of Warwick’s incredibly entertaining images below. I really found it hard narrowing down which ones I wanted to feature and I fear I may have gotten a bit carried away.
