For most people, the first thing that comes to mind when you say “Jon Favreau” is probably Iron Man. The next two things you probably come up with are Dinner For Five, (which I absolutely miss) and Swingers. Well now Favreau is adding video games to his resume and more specifically, the new trailer for the eagerly awaited, “Destiny.”
“Destiny,” is the upcoming video game from Activision and Bungie, the folks behind the massively successful games “Halo” and “Call of Duty.” To help promote the next big thing in video games they hired non other than Jon Favreau to direct their first trailer.
The 60-second teaser titled, “Law of the Jungle”, shows Giancarlo Esposito, (AKA ‘Gus’ from Breaking Bad) reading a portion of “The Law for the Wolves” by Rudyard Kipling and combines live-action for this open world shooter along with graphics.
“Destiny” is scheduled to be released next year but Activision has plans to release an additional trailer for the game during Sony’s big press conference at E3 on June 10th. The new trailer will contain a bunch of gameplay which should get fans all hyped up and chomping at the bit for the release of this one. Destiny will be available on multiple platforms including Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
Stay tuned to BLURPPY for more coverage of Destiny as news becomes available. In the meantime, head over to the games official website at DestinyTheGame.com to preorder your copy today.
