New “Halo” Game Announced For Xbox One Plus Another Huge Halo Announcement From E3

It has been announced that 343 Industries will be bringing the next edition of Halo to Xbox One in 2014.  The announcement came yesterday at Microsoft’s E3 press conference as an Xbox One exclusive and fans couldn’t WAIT to hear about their favorite game and what changes were in store with this new and improved operating system.

Halo-XBOX-ONE343 Industries’ Bonnie Ross confirmed that the new game, (announced at the show only as ‘Halo’), will not only be ‘enhanced by cloud computing‘ and make use of dedicated servers but she also stated, “for the first time on console, a Halo experience that runs at a blistering 60 frames per second.”

Screen Shot 2013-06-10 at 8.31.36 PMAs if THIS news wasn’t enough to send gamers into a frothing frenzy, Microsoft stepped up with another massive announcement.  343 Industries will be collaborating with a well known Hollywood living legend to bring a live action Halo series to television.  Who is the Hollywood legend you ask…none other than Steven Spielberg will be Executive Producing the series.

Halo-XBOX-ONE1It was said that the show will provide “exclusive interactive Xbox One content,” so we will have to wait and see just what that means but come on… a live action Master Chief?  The only thing I can say is it better be PACKED with action.  Take a look at the first trailer for the upcoming Halo game and let us know what you think about these announcements.
