20th Century Fox has just released a new character poster for their upcoming mutant mayhem flick, “The Wolverine” and this time, it’s for Jean Grey! Even though she only appears in the film during a flashback sequence, given the popularity of the poster series, the studio had to make this one part of the promotional poster series.
As we previously reported, the unique sumi-e ink poster campaign by Fox’s Chief Creative Officer Tony Sella has proven to be exceedingly popular. So much so that the posters are being stolen from bus stops almost as fast as 20th Century Fox can replace them! After seeing this new image, I’m sure these will be added to the thieves lists. (Note to self, scour ebay for a set of these!)
Take a look below at the other posters in the series that we posted back on May 20th and I think you will agree, the set would be AWESOME if they were to sell it. I think they would even make great tee shirts!
Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.
Let us know which poster is your favorite. I’m leaning toward Wolverine with the outstretched arms or Silver Samurai but they all look fantastic on my walls. I MEAN THEY WOULD look fantastic on my walls. I’m not advocating the theft of these promotional items in any way, shape or form.
