Artist Doaly Delivers A Fantastic Alt Poster For Film District’s ‘Oldboy’

oldboy-alt-poster-doalyYesterday we shared the sensational new red band trailer for Spike Lee’s remake of Oldboy staring Josh Brolin and today I want to share with you what SHOULD be the poster for the movie.  UK artist Doaly just completed his first Poster Posse Project with Pacific Rim.  He came out of the gates swinging and turned in an astounding 6 prints for the project over Phase 1 and Phase 2!

Screen Shot 2013-07-11 at 8.48.38 AMNow he has set his sights on Oldboy and the result is pretty awesome.  Here is what he had to say about the print over on his WEBSITEJust something I cooked up an alt poster for Oldboy, I wanted to take a little extra time and actually have a count for each one of the days over the 20 year period that was spent in that one room cell. so we should have a total of 7,300 strikes if my math has served me correctly.

Your math is correct and I am confident that fans are going to love this piece.  Follow Doaly on TWITTER to get updates on future projects from this talented bloke from across the pond.
