Due to some rather unfortunate circumstances beyond anyone’s control, Marko Manev’s “Lord of the Rings” triptych prints were not able to be at Hero Complex Gallery’s latest and greatest exhibit, “Young Guns“. I was speaking with HCG curator/ Art Director, Adam Smasher at the exhibit and he kept telling me, “Wait till you see what Marko did…wait till you see Marko’s prints.” (To be honest, he was down right giddy about it.) Given the fact that Marko is one of the “Original 8” in the Poster Posse I was eager to see what he had up his sleeve. What we are about to share with you is the Lord Of The Rings triptych set to end all Lord Of The Rings triptych sets!
4 color screenprint triptych set
12″ X 24″
Limited edition run of 100
$100 for the set
As an added bonus fans will get a full set of full sized prints of the bad guy images on black paper that will appear white during the day and GID with the lights out. So 6 prints for $100!
As you can see, Marko has completely outdone himself with these exquisitely gorgeous prints. Featuring “The Fellowship of the Ring“, “The Two Towers” and “The Return of the King” Marko beautifully captures the essence of each film. Perfectly highlighting the heroes and the villains, and utilizing the glow in the dark inks to set the two apart, this set is an absolute must-have for fans of the trilogy.
These prints will be available TODAY, exclusively through Hero Complex Gallery’s site HERE around 9 am PST Friday, October, 4th, 2013. Since I was at the show the line to get these can form BEHIND me! No cuts or I’m telling!
