Austin Artist Harlen Elam & 411posters Announce “Super Mario Bros: Level One”

Earlier today we gave you the scoop on James White’s fantastic new offering called “The Console Series”, which features retro video game and computing platforms.  Well gamers, it time to ante up because we have another print that you are gonna have to get. Now we are dialing you in on an incredible new print by Poster Posse artist, Harlan Elam, called “Super Mario Bros: Level One.”

12″ X 16″

8 color screenprint by Lady Lazarus

Signed and numbered edition of 50

$45

Here is what Harlan has to say about the print.  Super Mario Bros. came bundled with my first NES and started my life long obsession with gaming. Everyone privileged enough to play it probably remembers level one more than any other. The idea here is to capture those memories of the level we played the most and offer them up as framed nostalgia, or paper Nintendo.

SuperMarioBros_testThis Thursday, 411posters will be releasing this beauty and the good news is that it is just the first print in a whole “8 bit game series” that Harlen has rattling around in his head.  Next up is….

The Legend of Zelda_Poster“The Legend Of Zelda: Level One”

…followed by…

Metroid_7_Color“Metroid: Level One”

After THESE gems are released he will then move onto “Punch Out” and “Mega Man.”  Needless to say, old school gamers are gonna have a lot to look forward to over the next few months.

Follow Harlan on TWITTER and head over to his WEBSITE to see more of his fantastic work.  (Stay tuned because his new store is about to open as well.)
