I’m literally counting the days till my first Jason Edmiston print, “Dracula“, arrives on my doorstep. His art is in a league of its own and now fans of the Canadian artist will have a new way to purchase and share his art.
Jason has embarked on a partnership with Gelaskins and the end results are pretty damn awesome. Gelaskins works with artists from around the globe and makes custom, highly desirable cases and skins for cell phones, tablets, laptops, gaming devices, headphones and more. Not only do their products protect your favorite devices but they also glam them up and allow you to express yourself with art from your favorite artists or they allow you to design your own.
How did this partnership come about?
Brian Dunn from Gelaskins reached out to me in December. He said he had been following my career for a number of years, and thought we’d be a good match for each other. I was very flattered, and we set up a meeting to discuss details. Coincidentally, the Gelaskins offices are in my city of Toronto, so it worked out great.
I had been a fan of their products for years, and of the artists that they work with. I felt like they had a huge foothold in the skins and cases for devices market (as well as fine art prints) and they have great taste in art, and I would be proud to be a part of their group.
What’s coming next for art offerings through Gelaskins?
Other than cases and skins, I will be offering stretched canvases of a few of my designs. We are offering 6 designs at the moment, and if things go well, we have plans for many more.
I’d say there’s a pretty good chance that “things will go well” with these. CLICK HERE to head directly to Jason’s offerings over at Gelaskins and get some insane art and NO, these are not available “at a random time.” You can get these now!
