Art has been washing over the internet for the event with gallery shows and tribute art popping up every hour. We shared impressive art from Poster Posse members Peter Gutierrez, Matt Ferguson, Fernando Reza, Marko Manev, Kaz Oomori, and Chad Woodward last week and now fellow members Dan Shearn and Robert Bruno have contributed some fantastic pieces as well.
Aside from being a striking overall image, there is some great detail work in here that really makes this one of my favorite Game Of Thrones pieces. Check out the close ups below. This piece was supposed to be part of the Bottleneck Gallery online exhibit but Dan had to miss out as he was prepping for a new addition to the family. (I’m just glad he circled back and finished it. I hope he puts it up for sale on his site. BTW, that’s a hint Dan, get this thing made.)

Here is what Robert had to say about the piece/ show. “I think it goes a long way when an actor can deliver a performance in a film or show that moves an audience to either have pure love or pure hatred for their respective character portrayal. It is certainly the latter for Joffrey Baratheon, or is it Lannister?….I wanted to show his sinister and utterly evil way by using harsh lights and darks along with a splash of deep red to symbolize both the Lanister Sigil and his hunger for violence and terror.”
