Last July we gave you your first look at Khoa Ho’s Series entitled, “Superheroes: Past And Present.” The first series focused on Wolverine, Batman, Superman, Iron Man, Spider-man, and the Flash. It became very popular and left fans asking for more so now Khoa is about to embark on the second part of the series.
Khoa has partnered with Hero Complex Gallery to release this new set of prints at Wondercon in Anaheim, California this weekend. This time out his work features six NEW superheroes:
- Aquaman – minus his octopus sidekick, Topo
- Captain America – the original bad-ass boyscout
- Green Lantern – the ring is his thing
- Hulk – a man with real anger management issues
- Thor – my wife’s favorite superhero…for some odd reason
- Wonder Woman – the Amazonian first made famous by Linda Carter, next up Gal Gadot!
In this poster series I took a dive into the origins of these individuals and who they were before they became superheroes to remind us that despite the trials of our past, what we choose to do moving forward is much more important to us and the world we share.”
“This collection is a continuation of my Superheroes Past/Present series. I never planned to do a second set but after countless requests from some awesome and inspiring fans for more superheroes in this concept I knew I had to do more just for them.”
Hero Complex Gallery released the first set so I am very happy and honored that they are releasing volume two as well. THANK YOU ALL for the support and love for me and the stuff I create. This is for you.”
Each print cost $35 and will be in an edition of 65. They will measure 12″ X 24 ” and shall be giclees printed on metallic silver paper. As stated, they will be available at the Hero Complex booth at Wondercon, #101, starting today, Friday, 18th but they will also be available via their ONLINE STORE HERE.
