DC’s Jim Lee Gets The Cover For The 2014 SDCC Souvenir Book

Fan favorite, DC co-publisher, artist Jim Lee, gets the honor of doing the cover for the 2014 SDCC Souvenir book.  San Diego Comic Con is celebrating it’s 45th year and this year’s cover pays homage to Batman who is celebrating his 75th anniversary!

The Comic-Con International Souvenir Book is a keepsake full-color trade paperback given to FREE to all attendees (while supplies last). The book features bios and photos of each year’s special guests, plus articles and art created by fans and pros devoted to our anniversary celebrations. It also functions as a kind of “Yearbook” for the show, featuring Eisner Award winners from the past year and current nominees, Hall of Fame inductees and tributes to those popular arts creators who have passed away in the previous year.

This year’s book features an incredible cover by Comic-Con International 2014 special guest and DC Comics co-publisher Jim Lee, with color art by Alex Sinclair. In celebration of the Dark Knight’s 75th anniversary, Jim returns to Batman in this rare piece that he both penciled and inked.
