Vans Presents The Vault By Vans X Peanuts Collection

One of the things that always brings back fond memories of our youth is the splendid music of  Vince Guaraldi as Charlie Brown and the Peanuts crew embark on some whimsical adventure.  (Honestly, I can’t hear the music and not smile, it’s impossible.)

Well the folks at Vans Vault have teamed up with Peanuts on a Fall 2014 footwear collection that features a vintage print of the formidable gang from the 80’s and it’s exceptional.

Fitting for the California brand, these patters originally appeared exclusively on Vans footwear at the opening of Camp Snoopy in Knott’s Berry Farm.  Overall, two prints have been used including “Snoopy and the Gang” and “Camp Snoopy”.  They appear across select silhouettes such as the OG Authentic LX, OG Era LX and the OG Sk9-Hi LX.

I have a strong feeling that, back in the day,  if Charlie Brown was wearing these shoes, he ABSOLUTELY would have kicked that football.  (I didn’t care much for Lucy in my youth.  Always messing with Charlie, never being nice.)  If you live in California, you can visit BLENDS footwear stores in Costa Mesa (714-241-0666), Los Angeles (213-626-6607) or San Diego (619-233-6126) to pick them up in person.
