…and if you guessed Candy Crush, you are SO wrong. The other day we showed you a SPECTACULAR Game Of Thrones piece that Simon was commissioned for and now he has set his sights on a certain best-selling video game. Being from France, how could Simon NOT be in love with the new Assassin’s Creed game takes place smack dab in the middle of Paris during the turbulent times of the French Revolution.
Simon has come up with a sensational rendering of the games main protagonist, Arno and as usual, he has done it with nothing but triangles. Yep, we said triangles. In this case, 3953 to be exact and the end result is fantastic.
We asked Simon about this one and here is what he had to say: I’ve played Assassin’s Creed since the first episode. I adored the second one, and played a lot of Black Flag, but I have never anticipated the release of one of the Assassin Creed game’s like I have with this new one. The fact that this new episode takes place in Paris, during the French Revolution, REALLY tempts me to play it (maybe because I look forward to see what my streets could have looked like back in 1789!) I adore realizing portraits, and the challenge here was to create it behind the grand rose window of Notre-Dame, where we actually get to see the logo of the saga. It’s almost as if Arno, the assassin, was always a part of this city he choses to defend and to free.
Here is Simon’s gorgeous portrait of Arno and if you click the link below, you can see a variant version that he did as well.
