Berkay Daglar Turns In A Gorgeous Print For New The Turkish Band “Yok Öyle Kararlı Şeyler”

Poster Posse member Berkay Daglar joins 16 other artists in a unique album project for  the new Turkish band, Yok Öyle Kararlı Şeyler.  For their new album they asked Berkay and 16 other artists to each do a print for one of the 17 new songs on their upcoming album.

The art was featured at a local venue.  Each song had a listening station along with the featured art and lyrics.

Here is the official video for the song that Berkay was given.

Here is what Berkay had to say about his print.  My song is about chilhood days and longing for them. It says (to a child): don’t grow up.  In the song there is a metaphor that says remain hidden as you play hide and seek.  If you look carefully you can see 4 child hidden in the drawing. There is also an iconic view of the Istanbul City in the illustration.

We love everything about this print, the color palette, Istanbul and the hidden kids, it all works for us.  Be sure to follow Berkay on TWITTER and check out his OFFICIAL WEBSITE to see more of his great work.
