Partnered with Angel City Derby Girls and Titmouse Animation Studios, Eat More Art Out Productions is bringing back their annual roller derby fundraiser with more passion and excitement than ever before. Artists include: Erin Gallagher, Dave Pressler, Jim Mahfood, Mike Huddleston, Dave Crosland, Yelley, Kevin Schmidt, Lindsey Pollard, Matt Pugh, Ken Christiansen, Adam Rosette and many more.
Eat Your Art Out has quickly become a Los Angeles art scene staple, and this year’s Eat Your Art Out 8: Next Stop, The Twilight Zone will not let party goers down. For the fourth year in a row, the Titmouse Animation Studios lot will be transformed to accommodate this one night only event. Proceeds benefit Los Angeles’ Angel City Derby Girls, a flat track roller derby league which is entirely skater owned and operated, and currently ranked as one of the top ten leagues in the world!
Though this event might be officially described as a silent art auction fundraiser, the peppy trio who make up Eat More Art Out Productions would much rather claim the night as one “giant art party”.
“We want to bring art to the masses in a super fun and welcoming way, all while raising funds to support the sport that brought us together”. Promising EYAO 8 patrons live art, music, food trucks, photo ops and more, this will definitely be a giant art party you won’t want to miss!
Although Eat Your Art Out 8: Next Stop, The Twilight Zone is the sophomore effort of the newly formed event planning partnership Eat More Art Out Productions, it is obvious these ladies are not newcomers to the scene. EYAO8 follows their successful group art show from last October, Come and Knock on My Door: A tribute to John Ritter, and one of the company’s founding members, Jane Dope, is also the founder of Eat Your Art Out.
