Once you get your hands on them you crave more and more and more. Lego bricks can consume your every waking moment if you let them and allow you to be creative in ways other toys can’t. Since they first came on the scene back in 1949, Lego’s interlocking blocks have grown in popularity at a staggering rate.
“A Lego Brickumentary” delves into the cultural phenomenon that these colored bricks have created and shows us what lengths fans, companies and even movie studios will go to in an attempt to create new worlds, creatures, vehicles, etc.
Narrated by Lego Minifig, Jason Bateman, the brickumentary is directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Daniel Junge and Oscar-nominated director Kief Davidson. It explores the desire to create life-size X-Wing fighters and homes as well as half-cow, half-robot creations.
