Marvel & DC Take Their Never-ending Rivalry To The Chess Board

They have taken over movie theaters, comic book stores, and video games and now two of the biggest comic book companies are taking the fight to the chess board.  Eaglemoss has taken over one hundred of Marvel’s and DC’s beloved heroes and most loathed villains and come up with a rather spiffy looking chess set.

Will Spider-Man survive against Venom? Can Captain America overcome the villainous Red Skull? Or will the forces of evil defeat the assembled heroes? With the Marvel Chess Collection, the battle is in your hands!”

Each piece is finely sculpted in metallic resin and painstakingly hand painted.  They will  run you around $15 for a single figure to $38 for a cool double pack.  Some of the figures even come with a collectible magazine, (see above), that details their histories and powers.

Not that we need ANYTHING else to collect but these ARE pretty cool. Here is a look at a few of the figures.  You can click HERE to order from the US store and HERE to order from the UK store.
