“The Force, it’s calling to you… just let it in.”
Yesterday it was this new “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” poster that nearly broke the internet and tonight it was this fantastic trailer during Monday Night Football that has EVERYONE around the planet talking Star Wars.
After watching this trailer I was instantly teleported me back to my 11-year self. I walked out of the theater after seeing the original Star Wars a changed individual. My “universe” had grown exponentially after watching a new 121 minute science fiction film. I was electrified like never before and that evening I cast my gaze upon the evening sky and I could hear John Williams score in my head.
Tonight, after watching this NEW trailer for The Force Awakens, I experienced that same sense of awe and wonder. I was instantly captivated by the NEW John Williams soundtrack and thanks to today’s technology, I have watched and re-watched the trailer over a dozen times. (Something I would have LOVED to do with the first film when I was 11 !)
Sit back, remove all distractions, make the trailer so that it fills your screen, turn it up and “just let it in.” New music, new characters, familiar characters, good vs evil on an epic scale. This is Star Wars and I can’t WAIT to watch “The Force Awakens” when it hits theaters on December 18th.
