Marq Spusta Puts Charlie Brown “On The Mound” For DHM’s Next Peanuts Release

Dark Hall Mansion welcomes back artist Marq Spusta for DHM’s ongoing “Peanuts Moments” limited edition print series with his latest, “On the Mound,” available Tuesday, June 14th.

Dark Hall Mansion, under license from Peanuts Worldwide LLC, will release Marq Supsta’s latest officially licensed Peanuts limited edition print that finds Charlie Brown in a moment of life we can all well relate to.  Informed by Charles M Schulz’s timeless imagery Marq’s piece is humor, pathos and life pensively rendered to evoke more than meets the eye.

DHM’s “Peanuts Moments” print series invites artists to focus on individual Peanuts characters and classic moments drawn from Charles M Schulz’s incomparable Peanuts legacy. Expect our “Peanuts Moments” to be something special, and expect Marq Spusta to return with his Peanuts contributions.

Here’s a few words from Marq on his latest edition, “On the Mound”:  “This piece was especially inspired by Charles M. Schulz’s clever ways he communicated character’s emotions, expressions and actions graphically.  From the confused double-take Charlie Brown is making here, to Woodstock’s dark squiggle cloud of frustration and annoyance.  Charles Schulz could communicate so much within a simple panel.”
