Netflix & Marvel Release New Poster For Their Upcoming Bing-Watch Series: “Luke Cage”

There is now a new adjective in the vernacular of pop culture and it’s thanks to Netfilx…”bing-watch.”  Netflix has changed the way we watch TV by releasing entire seasons of their series all at once.  Personally, I love it and actively participate in “binge-watching” their series, specifically their MARVEL properties.

From Daredevil, to Jessica Jones, back to Daredevil and beginning on September 30th, we’ll be hunkered down on our couch, box of Junior Mints in our hands as their new Marvel series, “Luke Cage” takes up hours of our free time.  (It’s ok though, we LOVE what the partnership between Marvel and Netflix has spawned to date and we are highly confident that this series will be more of the same awesomeness we have come to expect.)

With San Diego Comic Con just around the corner, Marvel and Netflix have revealed the key art poster for the upcoming series and yep, we love it.  Marvel’s chief creative officer, legenday artist, Joe Quesada took the reigns on this one and he nailed it. (Like there would be any doubt right?)

“After a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin,” begins the official blurb, “Luke Cage becomes a fugitive trying to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. But he is soon pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city – forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury.”

If you are going to 2016 SDCC, stop by Marvel’s booth, #2329 and get this poster signed by Quesada himself.  (Please tell him Blurppy says “Hi”.)
