Today, the first teaser trailer for “Dunkirk” by Christopher Nolan and Warner Bros. Pictures leaked online.  (I’m sure Nolan and Warner are THRILLED about this.) Nolan wrote and directed this World War II, action-thriller and the first tease definitely leaves us wanting more.

Dunkirk opens as hundreds of thousands of British and Allied troops are surrounded by enemy forces. Trapped on the beach with their backs to the sea they face an impossible situation as the enemy closes in.”

Dunkirk” stars: Tom Hardy, Kenneth Branagh, Harry Styles, Cillian Murphy, James D’Arcy, Mark Rylance, Jack Lowden and Aneurin Barnard with music composed by Hans Zimmer.  According to WIKIPEDIA, the film is being shot on a combination of IMAX 65mm and 65mm large format film stock and Nolan reconditioned actual warships for the shoot, including the French Navy destroyer Maillé-Brézé.
