The First Teaser For Paramount’s “Arrival” Is Intense

Language is the first weapon drawn in a conflict.”

We are really excited to see Paramount Pictures upcoming alien, first contact film called “Arrival” and we now have our first teaser.  Honestly, I’ve been a fan of these films ever since my Dad took me to my first “big boy” film back in 1977, “Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

When mysterious spacecrafts touch down across the globe, an elite team – lead by expert linguist Louise Banks (Amy Adams) – is brought together to investigate. As mankind teeters on the verge of global war, Banks and the team race against time for answers – and to find them, she will take a chance that could threaten her life, and quite possibly humanity.

The film is based on Ted Chiang’s award-winning short story “The Story of Your Life,” and the tension is palpable as Amy Adams gears up to try and make first contact with beings from another world.  We will get the full trailer on 8/16/16 but for now, this will serve to whet our appetites.  Personally I like the intensity and the feel of this one and I can’t wait to see more.
