Orlando Arocena Just Secured More Space On Our Wall With His Insane Rogue One/ Full Metal Jacket Mashup Prints

It’s safe to say that we love the work of vector artist extraordinaire, Orlando Arocena.  We have several of Orlando’s prints and this past weekend, the Poster Posse showed us what he’s been up to lately and we HAVE to get them.

Orlando is a huge fan of Star Wars, (DUH!) and he decided to do some prints that mash up the upcoming film, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” with another of his favorite films, Stanley Kubrick’s insanely lethal, “Full Metal Jacket.”  The end result is two phenomenal parody prints that we are dying to hang on our walls.   Here is what he had to say about the project.

“Back in 2015 I was excited to hear the news about a potential Star Wars Rogue One story being developed, and directed by Gareth Edwards . I was very happy to read how the story would be more set within a military, covert ops thematic.  A year later and after a few trailers. I’m back to pay tribute with a parody.  I decided to pay reverence to one of my favorite wartime movies, Stanley Kubrick’s, “Full Metal Jacket” and the artist who created that films iconic artwork, Philip Castle, by visually combining the intensity and fighting spirit of the Rebellion in a new vector tribute.”

Orlando is currently offering 2 versions of the following prints, paper and foil.  Both are limited edition and because we S-U-C-K, we missed getting a set of the FOIL PRINTS.  (Yes there are still SOME left but one version is currently sold out.)  Take a look at this highly desirable art and use the links to go get YOUR copy before the rest are gone.
