Dave Perillo & Dark Hall Mansion Play “Hot & Cold” With “The Year Without A Santa Claus” Print Release

During our youth, we always looked forward to the holidays and all the TV specials that dhmwould pop up.  Sitting in our pajamas, with snacks and the whole family on the couch, we couldn’t WAIT to be teleported to places of sheer happiness.  One of our favorite specials was a stop motion animated special done by Rankin/ Bass Productions called “The Year Without A Santa Claus.”

Today, Dark Hall Mansion has revealed three joyful prints by artist Dave Perillo that focus on our FAVORITE characters from the special, “Heat Miser” and “Snow Miser.”  (Don’t even ask us to pick a favorite, we love these characters equally.)  These musical numbers NEVER fail to put a smile on my face, even at 51 years old and these posters pay perfect homage to the characters.  Here is the official announcement from DHM.

Dark Hall Mansion, www.DarkHallMansion.com, is dropping a little snowy Christmas fun into your Summer along with bringing the heat with our latest limited edition officially licensed fine art print created by leading contemporary artist Dave Perillo in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, THE YEAR WITHOUT A SANTA CLAUS, and available Thursday August 17th!

Dave Perillo brings a memory and smile to everyone courtesy of the simply inimitable and classic Heat Miser and Snow Miser! 1974’s Rankin-Bass masterpiece finds Santa, elves and children racing to rescue a stranded reindeer as Santa’s faith is tested and well restored as the children of the world bestow their priceless gift of love on him. Not to be missed is the amazing and unforgettable singing stand off between the Miser Bros that artist Dave Perillo has so charmingly captured via a pair of vintage LP album inspired prints that reminds us just how cool (er, and hot!) this timeless special really is! Be sure to also check out Dave’s single 12″ x 24″ Banner edition print that incorporates holiday decorations and has both Miser Bros on the piece. We hope they’ll become a mainstay of many a fan and family’s holiday traditions.
