“The past never forgets”
Right from the pages of Stieg Larsson’s popular Millennium book series comes a new tale of Lisbeth Salander as she battles against corrupt government officials and her past. Today, Sony has dropped a new trailer/ poster for the film and we can’t wait to see it in theaters this November. (Claire Foy is a force to be reckoned with… let’s just leave it at that…)
Lisbeth Salander, the cult figure and title character of the acclaimed Millennium book series created by Stieg Larsson, will return to the screen in “The Girl in the Spider’s Web”: A New Dragon Tattoo Story, a first-time adaptation of the recent global bestseller.
Golden Globe winner Claire Foy, the star of “The Crown,” will play the outcast vigilante defender under the direction of Fede Alvarez, the director of 2016’s breakout thriller Don’t Breathe; the screenplay adaptation is by Steven Knight and Fede Alvarez & Jay Basu.
Here is a look at the first trailer as well. Take our advice… don’t get on Lisbeth’s bad side….
